Liz began her journey in college, when a 35mm camera was ever-present in her hands. When she received her first digital camera as a gift in 2005, she began to find inspiration in the world around her -- children at the daycare where she worked, patterns of light on the wall, and during late-night walks in downtown Greensboro. and Winston-Salem.

In 2008, Liz bought her first DSLR, and sought out a mentorship with an established professional photographer in Greensboro. Through assisting, lighting workshops, and self-study, she developed a photographic style that got the attention of many future clients. In 2009 she opened her first studio, and is continually learning more about photography and business. She divides her time between her art and her first love (children) as a nanny.
